The project has been described as a joyous venn diagram of Sumner and Marr’s influences. Although ostensibly coming from different disciplines, the experimental dance pop of New Order and the full-bodied jangle of The Smiths, their common interests were many: dance music, a good tune and pushing musical boundaries.

The release includes 8 previously unreleased tracks including alternate versions, edits & instrumentals.

Trochę porażka jak dla mnie :/ Drugi dysk nie wygląda zachęcająco, bo to jakaś zbieranina kawałków z....kolejnych płyt projektu ("Visit Me" czy "Twisted Tenderness"), do których dodano napis "edit" i określono jako "previously unreleased". Skoro miała to być taka ogólna selekcja, to może wypadałoby dodać jeszcze z 6-7 numerów? A to ani teraz nie jest jakoś szczególnie reprezentatywne, ani nie zawiera np. wszystkich stron b z okresu "Electronic". Płytę chciałbym kupić w wersji rozszerzonej, ale może poszukam gdzieś wersji z 1994, która była powiększona o drugi dysk bezpośrednio nawiązujący do lat 1990-1992. Ja raczej jestem zawiedziony taką formą wydawnictwa, ale to oczywiście świetna rzecz tak czy siak Każdy miłośnik brzmień spod znaku New Order, PSB (bo The Smiths to tu trochę mało słychać) czy tanecznej alternatywy powinien znać!
