Długo zastanawiałem się jaka będzie kolejna płyta zgłoszona przez mnie do tej zabawy. Jednak po przeczytaniu kilku pozytywnych recenzji, także w Polsce, postanowiłem dodać właśnie tę. U mnie, jeżeli nic się nie zmieni, będzie w czołówce płyt roku 2009.
Evermore to połączenie elektroniki i piano rocka prosto z Australii (a może nawet Nowej Zelandii - ciekawostka: oba kraje spierają się, z którego kraju pochodzi ten nagrodzony wieloma nagrodami zespół).
Truth of the World to album koncepcyjny opowiadający o współczesnym świecie. Każdy znajdzie na nim coś dla siebie: od elektroniki przez gitarowe solówki nawet do utworu prawie kabaretowego.
Będzie to prawdopodobnie ostatnia tak mało znana moja płyta w tej zabawie w tym roku.
Data wydania: 20.03.09r.

Odrabiam zaległości. Płytę zacząłem słuchać od końca, ale potem okazało się, że nie jest aż tak źle (chyba całkiem nieźle, ale trochę zapomniałem, bo słuchałem tydzień temu, a teraz spisuję z kartki:

Warstwa muzyczna najbardziej mi przypadła do gustu na tej płycie. I to ona nadrabia za szczegóły, które mnie nie zachwycają. Wokal jest przeciętny. Nie jest tragiczny ani też bardzo dobry. Moim zdaniem niepotrzebne wstawki tworzą wrażenie lekkiej tandety, ale jak już pisałem muzyka mi tu wszystko wynagradza. Płyta na plus więc ;]
